trackrod ends on a ford mk3 mondeo?

how do you replace a faulty trackrod end on a mk3 mondeo

you dont need to use a splitting tool, i have been doing the job 8 years and never needed to as long as you hit it in the right place if you do need to hit them, they come straigh out

i 'd like to see them changed without using a ball joint splitting tool .

take of the wheel and where the trackrod end bolts through the hub slacken the nut off but dont take it al the way out just yet then there will be a big nut on the track rod where it joins the trackrod end, slacken that off by a few threads then take off the other nut that holds it into the hub that you slackend first then the trackrod end will just unscrew off the track rod, then re build it, once both sides are done you will have to have the car tracked. dont worry i do know what i am talking about i have been a mechanic for 8 years just thought i would look on here to see if i could help anyone while i am board hahaha hope this helps you, let me know if you need anymore help
