No Brake lights & a yellow curly dash symbol on VW GOLF?
I have got no brakes lights and a yellow curly symbol on my dash that is flashing? I have a 51 reg VW Golf diesal 1.9, any help would be gratefully received.....

Thank you for you quick response, i live in wolverhampton, abit far to travel affraid, the bulbs and the fuses are all ok, i will get the switch checked asap thanks again

hello the yellow curly symbol is the heater plug light, as for the brake lights if the bulbs and fuses are ok which is the first thing to check then it will be the brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal. i am a mechanic and have been for 8 years if you live in the barnsley area i could take a look for you, i am a mobile mechanic and work for myself i dont charge to diagnose the fault anyway
