Sukida 50cc splutters at full throttle when warm?

Hi, I have a sukida sk50qt Roma, it starts first time everytime, ticks over smoothly but after a couple of minutes running it splutters at full throttle any ideas? I've changed the fuel hoses, filter and spark plug and cleaned the carb but still the same.

Hi

Thanks for the suggestions have tried the valve clearances but it seems to be even worse now when it's warmed up :-( it seemed ok when I started off but after 2 mins I went up a hill and it went down to 10 mph and started to bog down again seems like fuel starvation because if I stop, leave it to idle for a few seconds it starts off fine then bogs down again.

yes, inlet nearest carb, exhaust nearest exhaust pipe. 0.05mm and 0.08mm could well be the original clearances but as mentioned previously could be too tight, go for the larger clearances BUT the exhaust should be the larger number of the two, eg: 0.08mm inlet, 0.12mm exhaust, not 0.012.

Thanks for the advice guys, I tried with the airbox off and no difference. I then tried adjusting the valve clearances to the settings you suggested and it pulls alot smoother, no spluttering but sounds rough. Is the inlet on the top and exhaust the bottom? I've also seen other settings of 0.05 & 0.08 being mentioned elsewhere, what ones are correct, as I can't find any official figures for these settings. Thanks again for the help.

one of two things,it has either got tight valave clearances or the carb is set up too rich i would suggest setting the clearances on top dead centre of the compression stroke to .08 on the inlet valve and .012 on the exhasut and then see how it runs if its no better try running the bike with the air filter box lid off and see if its better if it is then the main jet is too big or loose or the air filter is blocked, dont run it with the filter lid off permanantly as it will draw dirt in and damage the valves

You cleaned the carb, did you check/clean tha main jet,it could be fuel starvation.
