As it goes backwards it us NOT the oil pump or fluid problem. This fault fits the DPO transmission from about 1998. The band thats on in first and second is broken. By selecting between gears you will get third and fault light on. It's tricky but can be released over about 30 MPH. Or disconnect computer in N so it can start and be out of park. This is near battery and has a purple slide to release connection.
