How can I change the belt on an AEG Lavatherm 36600 tumble dryer?

The belt broke on my AEG Lavatherm 36600 tumble dryer. I have a replacement belt and have removed the top, sides and the rear heating element from the dryer. But how do I get the new belt over the drum? Do I remove the back or the front in order to slip on the new belt? And what precautions need to be taken when detaching the drum from either the front or the back?

Thanks in advance.

you can slide the drum backwards and fit it over the front or as I do remove the whole back panel.By doing this allows you to vacuum out fluff and give it a good spring clean before reassembling
