changing carbon brushes?

how do i change the carbon brushes in a whiteknight wk 447 tumble dryer

safer way to do it,open the door,place a pencil into the door lock,start the machine,turn the drum by hand,it only tumbles at 53 rpm,if it starts then follow ck advice,get the right capacitor for your machine,they norm about 6 to 8 micro farads,check the side of the cap

Do you want the good news?.Its an induction motor so doesn't have brushes.if the motor refuses to turn remove the top, start the cycle and then VERY CAREFULLY push the drum around by hand.if it then starts to rotate it is probably the start capacitor on the motor.remove the rear panel where the vent hose comes out and you will see the motor.it will have a capacitor mounted to or near it.replace that and see if it works.BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN HELPING THE DRUM TO ROTATE.Mechanical moving parts and high voltages are exposed!!!!
