located inside the bottom hose where it leaves the outer drum.remove the lower back panel to access you then remove the large clip by squeezing the metal tails together with pump pliers

get rid of as much water as possible BEFORE trying to clean the filter, put the drain hose down into a empty bowl the machine should empty out but it maybe very slowly, when water stopped remove the pipe clamp put an old towel under the hose for water spillage.
