how can i fix my renault megane?

I have a Vreg renault megan 1.6sport alize which has been off the road for some time now but as i am back at work i can afford and need it back on the road.
My battey was dead so i tryed to jump it off and that was when i made the fatal error. I put the jump leads on back to front. I know im an idiot lol.
so anyhow i tryed a new battery which turns the car over but it wont fire up. Also the hazord lights indicators and driver window will not work, they could be more problems too which i hav yet to discover
I am going to replace the fuses but is there something else wrong?
please could anyone help me or offer any advice?
Will i need to replace spark plugs etc.?
Any help will be greatly appriciated. And thankyou for taking the time to read my questions.

right ok well if the car is turning over with a new battery but wont fire up then i would say you may need a new starter motor or get your one fixed by a specialist as when ever you start a vehicle the battery will send a surge of current to the starter motor however if the connections are the wrong way round you could well have shorted out the motor within the starter itself aswell as blowing aload of fuses.

By putting the jump leads on the wrong polarity you have most probably fried the electrics. On a car of that age it will cost more to repair than the car is worth. Just get the local scrappy to collect it if it's not insured. Then buy another cheap car, there are plenty about, but I warn you not to buy a Renault again as the electrics are not very reliable as they get older, in fact there like that from new.
