How to fix AEG OKO Favorit 40_40 Dishwasher?

My AEG OKO Favorit 40_40 Dishwasher starts working and gets stuck during the cycle, not progressing through the wash. Physical parts are moving - seems to be a problem with the controller? Does anyone know of an easy fix or part replacement that might fix this fault? Thank you for your time and answers.
