Belt goes around the drum wheel, and the motor, new one would be very tight to put on, you would find some bolts securing the motor, once loosened, will allow the motor to move, so that belt can be fitted, try and put the motor back to origonal position, that way the tension is correct, to loose, the belt and drum might slip under certain load conditions, damage the belt, too tight, the belt will be damaged, and will not last as long. Use a marker pen if needed.
