I THINK I SCREWED UP MY PUSHRODS?

I CHANGED MY LOWER INTAKE ON A 1996 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX WITH A SERIES II 3100 ENGINE (ROLLER ROCKER ARMS) AND NOW IT WHILRS OVER FAST LIKE ITS TRYING TO CRANK AND THE DOES SOMETHING LIKE VAPOR LOCKING AND WILL NOT CRANK. I CALLED MYSELF PUTTING THE PUSHRODS IN CORRECTLY, BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE THAT WAS MY PROBLEM AND I PROBABLY BENT THEM. CAN YOU TELL ME EXACTLY WHERE THE SHORT ONES AND LONG ONES GO? OR DOES IT SOUND LIKE SOMETHING ELSE. I REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU COULD GIVE. THANKS
