Beko 1715 washing machine not spinning?

Hi, I have the above washing machine and it recently stop spinning, after reading other posts on this site I have managed to replace the bushes and got it spinning. However, this being my first time fiddling around with the insides of a washer I managed to break a wire away from a plastic clip but the washer still appears to be working fine so was wondering if any body can tell me what the wire may be for and whether it is important to find away of reconnecting it.

When looking at the motor there is a white round plastic clip attached to the side of the motor assembly, on removing this there is a further black round plastic piece covering a wheel which spins with the motor. It is this black round cover that has these two very thin yellow wires coming out of it.

I hope that description makes sense as I dont know many of technical names for any of the parts.

Thanks.

hi that unit at the back is the taco its important that all wires are connected to it because it lets the circuit board know what the motor is doing.can cause major problems if not connected(DONT FORGET POWER OFF)
