Can I replace a 1996 Corsa driver seat belt stalk? clip myself? ?

I can't clunk click and thought that it'd be easy enough to replace but after taking a closer look it looks a tricky business. I would really like someone to give me a very simple step to step guide if it's possible to do without taking it to a garage.

many thanks

Thanks for the advise Rich-i thought it'd be a one bolt job too but this clip/stalk runs under the seat so it looks like I have to take the whole seat out-have you heard of this before?

I take it you mean the bit the belt clips into that comes up from the side of the seat, most of them are merely held by a large bolt at the bottom of the stalk just take the bolt out and replace the stalk. You will get one from a scrap yard but avoid taking it from a car that has obvious crash damage as it may have been under strain.Good luck.
