How can I fix my Aqualisa Quartz electric shower?

My Aqualisa Quartz electric shower switches itself off while in use. You can hear the 'click' as if you have pushed the on/off button. I can switch it back on again OK but then it switches itself off again after about 45 seconds. And so it goes on.....

Hi my Aqualisa quartz electric shower has stopped working. Press the the button no blue light. Main electrics all okay.
Could it be thecuicuit board inside the cover. Any ideas

Replaced the front cover. Yay. It worked!

can you buy the on/off button or do you have to buy the whole front cover

I have 2 of these showers in my house and the same happened to the one in the en suite. I changed the front cover with the other one to test and hey presto it worked. I have looked around for the switch circuit board inside the front cover but cannot find it, so it looks like I will have to buy the complete front cover assembly approx £50

I had the same fault as you guys. The shower was in warranty to contacted Aqualisa and engineer came out. The guy explained that it was a simple problem with water and moisture getting into the power switch area which causes a short curcuit.

This was about 2 years ago now but unfortunately it has developed another fault. There is now no hot water. The power supply is fine and nothing is immidately obvious but its ice cold. Any one got any advice on this problem as well?

Had same problem in March 2011. Called Aqualisa as shower was still under warranty. They replaced the front cover that has the on/off switch intergrated. Apparently a common fault!!! Luckily mine was fixed at no cost... not sure what the cost would have been if out of warranty!!!

We had the same problem with the shower switching itself off every few seconds. We had to keep on pressing the on button. Strangely it got back to normal after a few days. But today no water is coming out of the shower head, the blue 'on button' light is not coming on! It has broken down again! Any advice?
