case david brown 1494?

do i have to remove houseing on the bottom section of gear box to be able to take out power shift
darron, August 2011
Gearbox top and clutch cover off, undo the bolts at the rear axle to gearbox trough and roll the back axle away with the gearbox attached. The book use to show the tool to lock the back axle to the gearbox to keep it level. The hydro shift can be dismantled from the front of the box. Diagnose the fault first whilst you can still run the tractor and transmission.
