my electra tumble dryer model 37527 is not drying?

there is no heat when the dryer is on max heat, all relevent filters have been cleaned etc i think it could be the thermostats on the back behind the silver cover, i am a electrician can i test the stats to see if they are functioning ok before i replace them , the machine was fine one day and no heat the next thanks keith

Yes without doubt this is the Thermostats causing your problem! Obviously make sure the element is also checked before considering the thermostats.
Make sure that you give the dryer a good clean through removing any lint or dust build up. Some times these thermostats can fail if the door is constantly opened while the unit is still running.
Obviously you are an electrician so no need for me to tell you how to check the thermostats.
