Indesit G74C - Shrinking clothes/overheating? -help!?

My condenser tumble drier is shrinking mt clothes - noticed recently. The correct time/heat settings are being used. There is a full heat and half heat button; we always use the half heat option. I'm not sure if it is the thermostats that have failed, the heat button or something else. Indesit refused to give me any advice without charging a lot of money but they think they have excellent after sales service!! Would appreciate any help

it is extremely unlikely that your machine is overheating. make sure your filter and condenser is clean(flush condenser with water to remove fluff).the temperature in a tumble dryer is regulated by the motor fan blowing air across the heater unit ,the thermostats are generally fail safe devices to prevent the heater getting too hot if the fan stops..
i suggest that you check the labels on your clothing ,make sure that they can be dried...most items will show some shrinkage in a dryer..
