intellowasher displaying 'de' HELP!!!!?

My washer keeps displaying 'de' when I turn it on to wash. I've checked the door is closed properly and that the load is even. I've even checked i different programme to see if it is the no I nearly ALWAYS use! but to no avail...it still says the same. I've had this machine for nearly 10 years now and it has NEVER let me down and still looks like new it's a fab machine...but right now it wont work, HELP please!!!M

de is door error. Ours had the same problem, caused by a faulty door interlock.

de usually stands for drain error. Not familiar with your make though. Check it is draining properly. Most dishwashers do a short drain before filling to clear any dirty water.
