black smoke seat alhambra?

my seat alhambra is letting out quite a bit when acclerating fast its thick black smoke its a 19tdi 54 reg . has lost sum power recently been told to put redex in tank???

Check or replace air filter and fuel filters. If OK, injectors probably need servicing or replacing.
Black smoke is due to free carbon i e incomplete or incorrect combustion.
