I am trying to refix the door release handle on my Hoover washing machine model no. HNF 3157. Did not check how spring was positioned. Think it is right but can't see how it is tensioned against the door. is there a picture somewhere of how it should look. It looks as if it should push against the inside flange but when I operate the handle it slides up and off. I have been trying to get this right for hours. Could I have damaged the spring.
