noisy when going over bumbs?

hi my wife has a ford ka 2002 15,000 on clock it as started to make a noise when you go over speed bumbs and also when you brake quite hard seems to be in the middle behind the engine any ideas

It could also be a problem with the bushes on the front suspenion arms. I had the same problem ans this is what i was advised and is all fixed and appears to be a common problem.

It sounds like one of the brackets that holds your exhaust in place has come loose or broken causing the exhaust to drop an inch or so. Take it to an exhaust shop and they should be able to fix it for you for next to nothing.
