how can i fix my TVR2?

The tumble dryer kept fusing, i took it apart and removed a ludicrous amount of lint and hoovered it out. now it works on low heat, but fuses if on high heat.
not sure if it is the heating element because it works on low heat. Any ideas?

the heater element is in 1 piece but to give the low heat & the high heat outputs is wired as 2 circuits.for it to blow or trip fuse/RCD suspect you have a S/C across the heating element.

need to change the heating element to get your 2 heat settings back.
