DE512 maytag dryer (about 27-28 years old)?

It makes a sound (grrr) when I press button to start, but motor does not start, nor does it begin to spin. How / where/ do I oil it?

You don't oil these motors. The noise you describe usually means the start winding on the motor has failed and will need a new motor fitted. Could also possibly be the start capacitor faulty or the centrifugal switch on the motor sticking.

OH, by the way, I vacuumed it out, collected coins and beads.
