my toilet cistern wont flush when I press the button on the top there is no resistance Ithink it might be air locked but when i try to fill the citern manually it just drains out.
flush valve is stuck in the open position hence water tipped in the cistern runs in to the pan.you need to reset/close flush valve.resistance should then come back on button and work hopefully
