Top speed problem with suzuki gn125?

Hi i have gn125 which is 11 years old. It seems pretty mechanically good but i can not get anymore than 45-47mph out of it. Its starting to get to me as i no it could do better. Is there any suggestions on what i can do to get it that little bi faster as i feel stupid going down a duel carrage way and only doin 45.

It should do nearer 70,get a workshop manual and go through all the settings one by one, points timing and valve clearance(very important)and make sure thc carb and mainjet are clean.I'm sure setting it up right will sort it if it was anything major(broken rings)it would have given up the ghost by now.Do the lot and you know it will be right.Good luck.
