What is the problem of my aniversary clock?

Hi,

I have a Kern aniversary dome clock. The spring has fully winded and I gave a momentum on the pendulum to rotate but it just worked for 30 minutes or so.

Do you what is the problem of my clock and is it expensive to repair or have service?

Thank you

Your clock needs a good cleaning and probably a new suspension spring. $75-$100 at repair shop. DO NOT use WD40 on the clock, this is not an oil and will only increase the expense of the repair.

Your clock probably needs cleaning & oiling. You could try, dare I say it, a drop of WD40 on the bearings & pallets. Make sure the clock is dead level, they are temperamental.
