John Deere L120 PTO Clutch Problem?

I have a John Deere L120 lawn tractor. It is about 9 years old. I have never had a problem until this year.
I had an issue where the blades would not turn when the PTO was engaged. I found the answer on this site and repaired the connection to the PTO. It ran for about a month then another problem occcurred with the PTO clutch.
After cutting the lawn when I disengaged the PTO (from the PTO button) for some reason the PTO clutch spun and ripped all the wires off the PTO clutch. I reattached the wires using jumpers and engaged the PTO (from the PTO button) and the blades turned as normal. When I disengaged the PTO (from the PTO button) the PTO spun and tore the jumper off the PTO.
Any idea what I can do to fix the problem or if I need a new PTO clutch do you know how to take the old one off?

Thanks for any help
