new element put into rangemaster fan oven blowing cold air

Why did you change the element? Did you test the old one first and confirm it was faulty or did you just make the same mistake many others make on here and just assume they know what the cause of the fault is. They think they will save money by not calling out a tech but end up wasting much more in buying parts they don't need.
