My VW golf GTi Mk5 has done only 29k and today the esp and tyre pressure warning lights came on. cant reset or turn them off. has anyone had this combination of lights? the car has also started being hesitant when pulling away from a standstill. not sure if its related. Its out of warranty and would appreciate ny advice before taking it to my local VW garage.

Don't know about tyre pressure light, but for ESP light see:

Even if out of warranty, providing you have full VW service history VW have been known to contribute to repair.

If not ecutesting repair is most probably your best bet.
