I need to change a grinding disc and I can not release it?

how do I release a disc from my power craft angle grinder PAG-230/2100 I have the spanner that came with it but it will not release the grinding disc and I want to put a different one on and I can not turn the spanner either way. Thank you

If it does have a 'lock' button on the gearbox, go through the normal procedure to remove the disc, but give the spanner a light smack anticlockwise with a hammer as you hold the lock button. If someones been over zealous when tightening with any model grinder, they can be swines to get back off.

Hold everything tight, watch your fingers and hands...and make sure you've disconnected the plug.

Thank you for your answer, but I have already done what you suggested, it is as if the disc has fused on to the grinder, I went on another site and several people have had problems with powercraft drills where the bit has fused on to the drill so they can only use the one bit that is stuck to the drill, but thanks again I will have another try, or maybe have three shredded wheat to give me more strength.Harry.

There will probably be a black button on the top of the grinder that you press down to lock the spindle, your spanner(horseshoe with two pins)releases anticlockwise.
