bought a 950i, alls well until it gets to about 200 rows then the carriage sticks going across, we bought a new solid table because thought it wasnt level, have cleaned it made sure everything is lubricated there dosnt seem to be anything wrong with the carriage, theres no wool tangled inside it, checked the brushes, but it still sticks going across, and it starts bending the needles.
Thanks for the advice Sue, I think I may have found out the problem, the carriage needs lubricating quite frequently, I think it was too dry underneath, I very new to knitting on a machine, so I am learing all the time,

Hi Erica,
It's strange that you can knit so many rows before the problem arises.
Quite often, when the carriage catches the needles it is because the sponge bar is worn and needs replacing. It might be worth checking yours - the foam should be at least 1/4 inch above the metal all the way along the bar.
Also make sure the knitting is weighted evenly and move the weights up as the knitting lengthens.
Hope this helps,
