I have an old caravan and the roller blind material is torn on the edges. It looks like a pvc alluminim backed material. I have searched the internet to find it and can't. Can I buy the material and is it easy to fix (does the material have a special name?). The cartidge has a net roller, which is ok and the pvc back roller as well.

Easy to fix NO! I've done it but cut down cheap blackout blinds because I tried and couldn't get the same material but found this site so give them a call and they might.
