locating the firecut off switch under the bonnet of renault kangoo van?

ive reasonly bought a reno kangoo van ,had a few probs starting it so a bought a new battery and new heater plugs,still wont start ,my friend tells me there is a fire cut of switch under bonnet that i might of lent on by accident,where can i locate it and how do i take it of thanx the van in question is a renault kangoo van diesal 1500

Red switch just atop of your battery

not sure of your vehicle, but some have a pump in fuel tank which could be at fault, also it may have an inertia switch [cut off] as some peugeot diesels have,you could do with looking in vehicle handbook for more info.

the battery has worn down now because it wouldnt start,it doesnt even start with jump leads its had new heater plugs and battery ,the lights r on the dash and everything just seems to me that its a fuel problem any ideas

Diesels do'nt normally have a fuel cutoff only petrol as petrol is more volatile than diesel
