How can I fix White Knight Tumble Dryer?

I have emptied water bottle however red light remains on saying bottle needs emptying. This prevents machine from working.

I removed lid and managed to move switch back into place, seems ok now.

bottle microswitch mounting at the back of the bottle distorted and needs replacing possibly.remove the lid and have a look
