I have read the answers pertaining to this same question, and I feel dumb for saying this, but I can't figure out where the pins are etc. that everyone is talking about! Can someone draw me a sort of diagram, so I know exactly what it is I am looking for? My chair is an old manual recliner with the handle on the side, and now the footrest is stuck in the up position, and I have virtually NO mechanical ability whatsoever!! I have read the answers posted to this question, but still cannot figure out exactly what I am looking for to fix this. Please help!! I don't want to bend or break the wrong thing trying to fix this chair!! There are so many delicate looking little wires and such under there...I just don't want to monkey up the wrong thing!!! Thanks for putting up with my mechanical inability!!! Help!!!
