I have a Renault Scenic 1.4dci 2006 model. I have a reading on the dash which says check parking brake, I have had the car into a garage were it was checked and a new switch fitted. but the message still appears periodically. can the message be switched of at all

Vehicle will need to be checked on Renault clip diagnostic computer - fault may be with parking brake computer. Alternatively - when battery voltage gets low a parking brake fault can occur.
