2001 Transit front brake sticking?

I have a transit van 2001, the passenger side front brake is sticking on when i brake they do release eventually, however if i brake hard the van struggles to move as they are stuck on hard.I have had new brake caliper on, new brake pads. I am not a mechanic by any means just sick of spending money and it does not solve the problem.

Hi thanks for all the answers, yes the brake caliper is new i watched as it was fitted, a week later each front side pads were changed. I will check the pipes etc as advised

Thankyou

If you are SURE the caliper has been changed, there may be a block in the brake hose, or the metal pipe may have been crushed. You could try bleeding the caliper & make sure the fluid runs freely. There's not much else that would affect only one wheel. I am a retired mechanic. The most common fault IS a seized caliper.

I am not a mechanic either, But if they are stickin on, and you have replaced calipers, possibly to do with master cylinder, you brake, fluid is pumped to caliper, when you release, fluid needs to return, If something is stuck stopping fluid to return, brakes stick on, only thing is master cylinder
