Immobiliser?

Does anyone know how to get a code for a renault clio 1.2 16v 52plate? i changed my battery today and can't start my car. or can you tell me how to discconect the immobiliser?

Hi Billy,

Try these:

Answer 1: By disconnecting and removing the battery and then replacing it, you activated the anti-theft device in your car. If you arm and disarm the anti-theft device, it should reset. If this does not work using the remote, try locking and unlocking the driver side door with the key.

Answer 2: Try locking and unlocking the rear hatch. This could reset your security system.

Answer 3: I removed battery from car to charge it. Upon returning battery to car, alarm activated itself. The car dealer told me to turn ignition switch on and off 5 times, to reset the alarm.

Answer 4:Try unlocking the drivers door with the key, which may disarm the alarm system.
