To tell the truth I don't know if they are the same I very much doubt it though. You can get a new power cable off Ebay for £2.39 with free postage so it's not really worth doing anything other than putting the correct cable on it

yes....... but put a 3amp fuse in the plug ,they should have 2 wires,,
