How to fix my 206 HDI 2L Turbo 2005?

Hi
I Have try ed what you said a few times but with no avail some times its run for longer then shorter can it be that the pot where the cartridge came in be faulty because when i switch it of leave it until the relay release switch it on again the pump is running for under ten sec so there can't be fault there, are the pot head not working as it should because when i pull off the pipe that go to the turbo there is not anoth diesel in to let the car run but when i take pipe off from tank and switch on the pump it pump strong

Thank you This is really a good forum

Hi Klaus, think this problem started when you replaced the fuel filter,it sounds as if you are getting air into the fuel lines,I think there are two different types of filter on these, one is an oval with a clamp to secure the top after the filter is replaced, the other is a round filter which turns 90degrees to change the filter, did you dislodge a seal or are the lids when refitting getting a good seal?you usually get new seals with a new filter so would make sure the filter is fitted correctly and seals are in place correctly also,if there is a hand primer them prime until you get a good flow of diesel through the bleeder,if not fill with clean diesel,it may be a co incidence that the problem occurred after changing the filter but would start there for a look.good luck.
