My Zannussi Aquacycle 1000, model FLA 100 1W has stopped going through the wash programme. It only fills with water and does not go on to the next stage. It remains at this stage making a "sound", but does not wash, agitate, spin or drain. It does not move on the dial either.

after filling with water the next stage is the heating up of the water so check/test the heating element for an o/c
