Boiler on all time?

I have a BAxi (Potterton agian) HE100 - which seems to be on all the time - the clock is going round on the timer but take sno notice of wheter i leave boiler timer on all time, twice a day or off... any idea what wrong and how mcuh it would cost to rectify - not in work so price is important.

thank you
Jay

The boiler has a "winter summer button" - next to the clock. I was told to keep it to winter conditions all the time - otherwise the summer adjustments would kick in, messing the timer....

Do you have a frost stat anywhere? Not uncommon for these to go wrong, Just a long shot?
