It will not turn itself off, will it be easy to fix? I have lost instructions of layout.

You have two possible situations. If the fridge is running constntly and not getting very cold then you probably have a loss of coolant gas which can be expensive to repair. If on the other hand the fridge runs too long and is too cold making everything freeze then you have a faulty thermostat or sensor which will be less expensive.
