honda gv 100?

Hi I have a mountfield laser fitted with a gv 100 honda engine it starts and the stops after about a couple of seconds of running as if its run out of fuel but its getting plenty of petrol could this be ign coil trouble?

could be either if only runs for a couple of secs i would say you have a fuel problem honda carbs can be tempremental either have it cleaned or replace it oregon make a cheap replacement
