can I fix the hotpoint EW73, electric cooker?

hope someone can help,I have a wedding cake to bake!! My Hotpoint EW73 appears to be broken and I'm wondering if I can fix it myself. The fan and electric light are working fine but the oven will not heat up at all. Many thanks.

the element in the oven it gone" you need a new one, but you need to take the old one out first, so you can get the right one at the hardwear, or ebay , ect,,you can not have (ANY POWER ) going to the cooker when working or the wedding cake wont be the only thing getting cooked. turn the power off going to the cooker. check by turning the rings oven light fan , knock it off at the wall . take the back off , to see the element, take a photo of the wires on it , unscrew it , keep the wires apart, when the element is off, and dont turn the oven on untill the new element is back in, its not a hard job to do , but you must be carfull , and have no power going to the cooker when your working on it , or get somebody to do it for you,,,
