my hotpoint wm53 1200 first edition model is not filling up with enough water ( approx a cup full ) ????????????




everything else seems to be working fine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Washers sense water level, via a pressure switch and a pipe, the pipe can get blocked with soap, you would need to take the top off, usually to the front, a 3" dia 1.5" thick unit quite often brown and white, usually 2 wires, and a pipe below. the pipe needs to be cleaned, should just pull off the pressure unit, wash out refit.
