non charging?

hi , have new alt, belt, elec checked all ok, but will not charge battery, bat light on, temp gauge goes straight to hoe when ignition turned on, runs fine except not charge batteryn and temp gauge, hhhhhhhelp me please

i would agree with other guy need info but would suspect brushes inside alternator if everything else checked out
