My Kenwood KM265 mixer has died, can anyone help?

Hi, I have a Kenwood KM265 mixer which has given up the ghost. It would start intermittently, do ti won't start at all. I've tested the microswitches, all OK, the powers getting to the pcb but with all the switches closed, still no life. The speed control pot seem to be ok and the motor will not turn in pulse switch position. Has anybody experienced an intermittent, then permanent problem like this? Is it likely to be the pcb? Any feed back would be gratefully received. Many thanks

I had same model which had identical problem. Took it to a Kenwood service centre, where it was tested. They said it was the pcb but wanted over £60 to fix it!
