Can i drive with out a fan belt?

Dumb question but basically i wont be able to get a new fan belt fitted to my citreon saxo for a couple of days... my old one has snapped clean off, am i okay to drive with out a fan belt for a couple of days? Thanks!

False info from the other reply! the water pump is driven by the cambelt!

Your problem will be that the battery will not being charged and that would lead to the car eventually stopping when the battery becomes to low on charge to power the engine electronics

no! without belt it wont charge and will overheat due to water pump not turning!
