The communication between the DC controller pcb & the image processor pcb is disrupted.
The flexible cable is faulty or the two pcb's mentioned are faulty. Or if it has a finisher, the finisher controller is faulty.
If it only occurs when using the cassettes, the relay sensor actuator spring needs an extra wrap to make it tighter.
